The software is designed to ensure regulatory compliance with driver distraction and drowsiness standards as well as meet the stringent requirements set forth by testing institutions such as IIHS and Euro NCAP.
Distraction Detection Capabilities
Long Distraction
Recognizes when the driver continuously looks away from the forward direction to one consistent location for more than 3 seconds.
Short Distraction
Detection of VATS (Visual Attention Time Sharing), which is repeated quick glances away that build up over time.
Phone Usage
Identifies frequent glances toward unexpected areas within defined zones that indicate phone interaction.
Unresponsive Driver
Alerts the driver when gaze does not return to the road promptly, or when eyes remain closed for prolonged periods.
