With Neonode technology, you can make anything from coffee machines to elevators fully touchless in moments. Using infrared lasers with a configurable scanning frequency of up to 900Hz, our Touch Sensor Modules track movement with 1.5mm accuracy and a response time as fast as 10 milliseconds.

The Benefits of Optical Touch

Light-reflective technology allows users to make multi-touch interactions with anything they choose, whether it be fingers, gloves or pens.

Neonode zForce optical sensing technology has high scanning frequency, low latency and high accuracy. It operates in a wide temperature range, making it ideal for applications intended for harsh or rugged environments.

In-built self-calibration also ensures touches from unwanted objects are ignored, such as passersby, water droplets or insects. Users can swipe, scroll, pinch, push and even sign their name.

Design touch active area(s)Whether you are creating a simple interface or a complex interactive experience, you can configure either one or multiple interactive areas. Even on larger screens or projected areas, you can mount several different sensor modules to create touch on different parts of the interface.
Customize HID display sizeMaximize intuitiveness, usability and cost effectiveness by creating compact interactive hubs that can control larger areas. With zForce Programmer, you can control the physical size of the screen with a movement ratio of tenths of millimeters.
Restrict objects based on sizeFor even smarter interaction, enable or disable different sizes of accepted objects. For example, enable touches from objects that are the size of a pen or finger, and disable bigger objects like an arm or elbow to eliminate touches from unwanted objects.
Optimize the click responsivenessDepending on the use of your application, you can provide more rapid and accurate feedback to the end-user by choosing to report a mid-air click upon entering the touch field, or alternatively when the object leaves the touch field.
Configure scanning frequencyOptimize power consumption by configuring the idle frequency and by setting when the sensor module is activated. For example, set the sensor module to only be in active mode when a touch object is being detected.
Adjust number of reported touchesWith our multi-touch technology, you can configure the number of simultaneous touch points – up to ten fingers!
